One of the leading voices in this effort is Dr. Rebecca Robbins, PhD, a Certified Oura Advisor and sleep scientist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Robbins also serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Her research primarily explores the critical relationship between sleep and overall health, including the development of behavioral interventions that guide individuals toward better sleep habits. With extensive publications in peer-reviewed journals and as the co-author of the book Sleep for Success!, Dr. Robbins is a recognized expert in the field. Her frequent appearances on national television further amplify her commitment to educating the public on the importance of healthy sleep.

Dr. Elissa Epel, PhD, another Certified Oura Advisor, is a renowned health psychologist and the Vice Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Epel has dedicated over three decades to studying the effects of stress on both mental and metabolic health, focusing on diseases like obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. Through her research, she has highlighted the vital connection between the mind, body, and immune system, including her work on telomeres, which are crucial for cellular aging and disease prevention. Dr. Epel is also the co-author of The Telomere Effect: A Revolutionary Approach to Living Younger, Healthier, Longer and the author of The Stress Prescription, both of which provide valuable insights into managing stress for a healthier life.

Dr. Eleni Jaswa, MD, MSc, FACOG, is a board-certified ObGyn, Reproductive Endocrinologist, and Fertility Specialist based at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Jaswa’s expertise lies in reproductive health, and she has conducted extensive research on topics such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), ovarian reserve markers, and fertility preservation. In addition to her research, Dr. Jaswa is passionate about leveraging technology to empower women in managing their reproductive health goals. She balances her academic medicine role with teaching and mentoring the next generation of women’s health professionals.

Dr. Michael WL Chee, MBBS, FRCP (Edin), a Certified Oura Advisor, is a professor and director at the Centre for Sleep and Cognition at the National University of Singapore. A distinguished sleep scientist, Dr. Chee’s research has focused on how sleep deprivation affects behavior and cognitive function. He has also explored the use of wearable devices to enhance population health, cognitive aging, and mental wellbeing. His work has been widely published, and he is a well-respected advocate for the importance of sleep in promoting long, healthy lives.

Dr. Jagmeet P. Singh, MD, ScM, DPhil, is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the former Clinical Director of the Cardiology Division at Massachusetts General Hospital. His academic background includes completing fellowships in internal medicine, cardiology, and cardiac electrophysiology, as well as earning a doctorate from Oxford University. Dr. Singh is actively involved in healthcare redesign, digital health, and medical device innovation. He is also the author of Future Care: Sensors, Artificial Intelligence, and the Reinvention of Medicine, and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Heart Rhythm Society.
