Recycling Program

Oura’s device recycling program offers a simple and responsible way for you to recycle your old or unused Oura Rings. By participating in this program, Oura will cover the cost of shipping for members who choose to return their devices.
Currently, the device recycling program is available in the United States, Canada, select EU countries, and the UK, with plans to expand to more regions soon.
Which Rings are Accepted?
You can return any Oura Ring, whether it’s damaged, no longer working properly, or simply no longer in use. This includes rings that have been upgraded or replaced with a new model. If you’ve received a replacement or purchased a new ring, you can easily send the old one back through the recycling program.
Before Returning Your Oura Ring
Before returning your Oura Ring, there are a few steps you need to follow to ensure a smooth process:

Remove the Oura Ring from Your Paired Device: Go to the Oura app and unpair your ring. You will also need to reset it to factory settings.

Ensure Stable Network Connection: Make sure your internet connection is stable to avoid any issues during the process.

Charge the Ring: Place your Oura Ring on its charger and ensure it is charged to at least 50%.

Sign Out of the Oura App: On the Oura app, tap the menu icon in the top left corner of the “Today” tab, then go to Settings and scroll to the bottom to select “Sign Out.” Your app data will be automatically backed up during this process.

Remove Your Ring from Bluetooth Settings: After signing out, go to your device’s Bluetooth settings and remove your Oura Ring from the list of paired devices.

Restore to Factory Settings: Finally, reset your Oura Ring to factory settings before returning it.

How to Return Your Oura Ring

Visit the Recycling Portal: Depending on your location, visit the appropriate recycling portal for your region:

US Device Recycling

Canada Device Recycling

UK Device Recycling

EU Device Recycling (select countries)

Fill in the Required Information: Complete all necessary details required on the portal.

Choose Your Preferred Return Location: Select the location where you wish to drop off your device.

Follow the Packaging and Shipping Instructions: Carefully follow the instructions for packaging, labeling, and shipping your Oura Ring back to the designated return location.

Ship the Ring: Drop off your Oura Ring at the location you selected and ensure it is properly mailed.

Important Notes

The recycling program is exclusively for returning devices. Any Oura Ring returned through this program is not eligible for refunds, exchanges, or trade-ins. For returns or exchanges, please refer to Oura’s product return and exchange policy.

If you’re unable to ship or drop off your Oura Ring, you can dispose of it in accordance with local electronic waste disposal guidelines.

Through this program, Oura aims to reduce environmental impact by responsibly managing old devices and offering an easy way for users to recycle their Oura Rings.
